OuterWorlds has many special activities during the year to keep the Community interesting!
The group responsible for these are referred to as the "Special Events Team." On different holidays we get together and discuss what can be
done to entertain everyone.
A few of the events we have held involved scavenger hunts.
The Fun Run is usually done during the Summer months which involves either finding little
objects such as (Ketchup, Mustard,
Hot-dogs, and flags) in many different worlds or in just one world. People go around finding these objects and e-mail the Special Events Team with the object and the
coordinates they found it at.
Other events such as what the Special Events Team held for Easter was a scavenger hunt but this time with Easter eggs and a word and number in each egg. The number
told what place in the story the word held and each time they found an egg, they would put the words in order of what number it had and finally when all eggs are found the story would be completed.
Soon, the
team will be planning the events for this years Halloween contest. This year the contest will be even more ghostly than before!
The winners of these contests get prizes. A few of the prizes we have had
in the past events:
