Recommendation by an area resident:
Take Train from airport to the closest stop to the hotel. From either line the closest stop is only a six block walk. Take a Taxi from there to the hotel. Cab fare then will be a minimal charge between $5-$8, for two.
O’Hare:
Take the Blue line, get off at Clark Street Station - cab it to hotel from the station. - simplest, safest, 2nd cheapest method. (10 blocks and cross the river)
Midway:
Take Orange line get off at State Street Station - cab it to hotel (six blocks and cross the river - so it's within walking distance)
