New DJ applicants need to be a Citizen in good standing and will be screened on an individual basis. Some may need to be a Citizen for a while until we all get to know you.

Yearbook Team:

I think this should be our best Yearbook ever.
We would like to welcome Arista and Freaks to the team!  The two of them are doing an excellent job setting up the format for the new yearbook site. They bring a fresh, new perspective to this team.

Join us in building this year’s yearbook.  We WILL need (useable) materials from EVERYONE! (Yes, we still have whatever was sent for the phantom 2002 edition!) Plain text is always best. Word docs without much formatting works, too. Let the programs wrap the text. Editing will inevitably occur.

Anyone want to be a Yearbook editor? Join the team yearbook@outerworlds.com . Fluency in English required. Other Langs A +. I must admit, I am stunned by the reports that indicate we are still getting 'hits' on all of the Yearbook editions, including the 1st one! Yearbook2000 had 57 visitors just last week! OMG!

In the 1500's: England is old and small and they started out running out of places to bury people. So they would dig up coffins and would take the bones to a "bone-house" and reuse the grave. When reopening these coffins, one out of 25 coffins were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive. So they thought they would tie a string on the wrist of the corpse, lead it through the coffin and up through the ground and tie it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the "graveyard shift") to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be "saved by the bell" or was considered a "dead ringer."
