Strange but True:

(Strange that I am even typing it. But True!)

I bought my current Condo 8 years ago. I looked at many Condos (I was tired of shoveling snow and mowing grass) all around where I lived, as well as where I worked at the time. I had a few criteria aside from price. NO electric heat, central air, and a garage would be nice, too!

Well, I found one, but is was back in my hometown! Reasonably priced, too! (Prices have gone WAY up since then, around here.) I looked at it, and it seemed good enough. I'm easy to please, usually. Made an offer, and a counter-offer. Got the inspections done.

Then, on my last look-see, it ends up that the seller is a woman who, in high school, dated and then married an old friend who was cousin of an even older friend! This was the condo they had bought together many years ago! I had been to her and his parents houses many times!

We both laughed.

And of course signed the huge pile of paperwork!

Just a year or two ago, a Police Officer of the town knocked on the door and asked if I knew a person, last at this address. I said I don't know, and I've lived here for several years. They said it was an old one, sorry, nevermind.

And I have replaced the Olive-green stove.

There is no moral to this story.
