OW Teams get a face lift!

Look for new changes in the OW Teams. Starting in January 2005 the OW teams will take on a new look.

The greeters have been disbanded (once again) and all of our wonderful volunteers are settling into new titles and positions.

With the new OW Rep Program we are combining the Realtors and the Teachers into one team. Making it easy to buy land and get help learning to build all in one easy step. If your realtor can not help you learn to build he/she will help you maker an appointment with a teacher.

Now you can become an OW Rep with your choice of positions.Sign up as a Team Member and have a voice in community events, be listed as an OW Expert in the new OW Rep Guide, and receive special OW Team Member (OWTM) benefits for your commitment of time and energy.

Have less time but still want to be an OW Rep? Sign up as a Stand-Alone OW Rep. You will have access to the new OW Rep guide and not have the commitment of Team Meetings and Team emails. Active SAOWR's are eligible for special SAOWR benefits.

- Trivia Tuesday is currently the Quarterly Prize game - so get on your thinking caps and fast fingers ready for action!

MsCactus will soon be hosting Bingo on a Wednesday - so watch out $Vegas$ world - Mickey and MsCactus will have you all number crazy!

OW Developers

Please join me in welcoming the OW Development Team! I asked the new Team Coordinator, Freaks about the team and here is what she had to say:

We've got a mailing list organized and anyone interested in joining the team should email development@outerworlds.com. The website is also up with just a few things for download at the moment and some links.

The site is http://www.outerworlds.com/development/ there. You'll see from the site that we're looking for a Delphi or C programmer to add login things from the AW SDK to an Alicebot to create an AI blabber bot. Of course there'd be a command to shut it up when it starts aggravating people. Ampirilla has built a really really huge tower I don't know the specifics yet but if you ask him about it I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you. So that's it so far.. just making a start lol.

We added a new member to the team last night so it's growth is steady. So far we have:

Xor joined last night and he's a programmer. Ampirilla basically just does what he does best and builds strange things. He's also good for trying out new objects and beta
testing. Aragorn is techie guy and also writes bot scripts. PianoDavy does sounds and music. AlbinoVulcan does avatars, objects and textures. Work has already started on a few things.
