"Enjoy the beauty in the darkness that is Alucard"

This is the message upon entrance and I couldn’t have put it better myself!  There is a beautiful enchanted darkness about this world that seems to pull you in and cast a spell.  I love everything about this world.

There is gothic medieval feel to this world, but probably not the goth that most people are familiar with.

“Most people think that gothic and the darkness of gothic is gruesome. I wanted to show that it is indeed quite the opposite, if you just open your heart, and your eyes to allow yourself to see it,” says Lady Alucard. 

The vampiric nature that surrounds this world is not monster, but rather highly seductive and romantic. 
Lady Alucard explains, “all that is Alucard is very romantic, just like candle lit dinners on the veranda are romantic so is a stroll through every part of Alucard. “

Lady Alucard has been working her tail off to make sure every last detail is authentic, right down to the water powered carnival rides.  But she never hesitates to drop what she is doing to give a tour. There are many things to enjoy in Alucard, including Alucard Castle, a vampire museum, The Market and Carnival Grounds, Alucard Radio, and much more. Alucard is currently under major construction, but it is not noticeable. So stay tuned, there is more to come!

Many events are planned for the future such as parties, the game realm and holiday celebration events. If you would like to know when the next event takes place, than just Telegram Lady Alucard and she will get back with you as soon as possible.

Letter from the Editor

Hi Everyone!

I am just putting a short note in here to keep you aware of the changes in the OW Newz lately.

As most of you know, I am seldom online anymore as real life has dragged me away (kicking and screaming all the way too .. I might add!)

You can expect the newz to be sporadic for a wee bit, but I will upgrade it and add to it as best I can.

This is only a temporary state of affairs and I will be back!

The following is actually based on a true story .. the names have been changed to protect the privacy of those involved, and to make it more fun for us! *winks*

One day Ivy saw her friend Recx’s picture in the local paper with a write up saying Recx had received a commendation, for a valiant duty performed at his job as a bus driver.

She called Recx to find out the details, and they met for lunch.

When they sat down, Recx said, "I got a commendation the other day."
"Congratulations. What did you do?" Ivy asked.

"Well, Tuesday, just after the start of my first run of the day, a drunk got on the bus and fell asleep. After watching people avoid the seats near the drunk for one and a half loops of my run, I finally took the man and dragged him off the bus."

Ivy was shocked. "You got a commendation for throwing a poor drunk off the bus and into a snow bank?"

"Well no, not exactly", Recx replied. "On my next run I noticed the drunk was still lying in the snow so I dragged him back into the warmth of the bus. Someone saw me do that and phoned it in."

LOL don’t you just love it when the spotlight shines on us at just the right moment??!!
