Minimum System Requirements:

Pentium II CPU 300mhz or equivalent
128MB RAM
Microsoft Windows 98, Me, 2000, or XP
DirectX 8.0 or later
Windows Media Player 6.4 or later
3D accelerated video card with at least 8MB and the latest drivers.

Click here to download and install the Outerworlds Browser using the NEW install from the web package! Only the needed files will be downloaded and installed on your computer. When the File Download Box appears, simply click OPEN and Outerworlds will automatically install for you. It’s that simple!

Please note: Some older systems may require updated Windows Installer Runtime files in order to process the new package properly. These will be automatically installed for you.

Also IMPORTANT, you will most likely receive a warning message if running any kind of Firewall software. This is normal and should be allowed in order for the content to download correctly.

Download The Outerworlds World Server

The World Server is available for those world owners who are interested in hosting their own worlds.
Important note: the World Server requires unrestricted access to the internet in order to function. Running behind a firewall, proxy server, or any other type of network configuration that blocks incoming connections is NOT supported. For help in setting up and running your world click here.
