The Frame Command


Usage

    frame [name] [+/-] number

Description

The frame command sets the current frame of an animation which has been set up using the animate command.

The optional name argument specifies the name of the object with the animation. Object names are assigned via the name command.

The number argument specifies the new frame number. It can either be an absolute frame number, or a relative frame number with a + or - in front to move the animation forward or backwards by a given number of frames.

Example

    create animate me turn 5 5 0, astop; activate frame +1

This action sets up a 5 frame animation called "turn". The animation starts out halted on frame 1, but each time the object is clicked on the animation will advance by one frame.
